The U11 Sparks are raising funds to sponsor a family in need this holiday season through the Salvation Army. As part of their fundraising effort, they are going to play a special exhibition soccer game: "Sparks players vs their parents, siblings, and special guests".

We're aiming to put the fun in fundraising and we hope that this can be a fruitful team building and leadership experience for the girls.

The Salvation Army has arranged for one of their good sports to join in the game, and I think we have a Whitecaps prospect signed-on too.  A couple of the Moms are trying to get David Beckham to show up as well, but that one might be a long shot still.
