Mini (U8-U10)

Mini Soccer (U8-U10)

Mini soccer is the bridge between Micro and full field soccer. It is designed to continue development through maximizing playing time and players' touch on the ball.

Games are held primarily at the Riverway mini fields on Sundays, usually from mid-morning to early afternoon.
Practices are held once a week outdoors at a location, time and day decided by the individual coaches.
Practices are held once a week on lighted All Weather fields throughout Burnaby anytime between 5:30 and 8pm. Location, day and time is chosen by the team Coach from the available options that the City of Burnaby issues to our Club.

Teams are formed by attempting to place girls from the same school and neighbourhood on same teams if possible. Requests for specific teams will be considered but not guaranteed.
Place is given to returning players on last year's team provided registration and payment is received by May 1st. Placement is done on a first received, first placed basis.

Beginner level players are welcome at this level.

  1.  There will be a total of 5 players on the field, 4 plus a goalie.
  2.  Halves will be 20 min each with a 3 min break for halftime.
  3.  Games are played across a mini-field with mini field goal line and mini field centre line serving as the sidelines and mini field sidelines are the U8 goal lines.
